What inspired me to create Be K.I.N.D. was a combination of having autism, dealing with bullies and enjoying volunteering with my mom. They’re three different things but I wanted to try to combine them. So I created BE K.I.N.D. which stands for Kids Into Nice Deeds. It is designed to inspire kids to have the compassion, empathy and courage to stand up for others, include everyone even if they have a disability, and make a difference in their communities one nice deed at a time!

Even though Be K.I.N.D. is geared toward children, we learn from the examples of adults around us. By following in adults footsteps we learn how to follow the rules; how to be patient; how to be humble if we win and to be accepting and respectful if we lose; to put others needs before our own and more; to stand up for what’s right even when we’re the only one standing.

The goal of BE K.I.N.D. is to help kids learn that their voice matters and even the smallest good deed can have a huge affect. That we can and need to be a kind generation where are kids are included; where differences are appreciated; where compassion is encouraged in kids, and where kids get the feeling of fulfilment that comes with doing the right thing.
